Douglas is a contemplative Christian, an Oblate of the Order of Julian of Norwich and a transitional deacon in the Anglican Church of Canada. He is also an artist and musician. Douglas strives to be a witness in all of life, seeking and serving God with regard to the dignity of all people and the beauty of creation.
We live in a confusing world where judgment is too often misconstrued as the way of God. This is one of the world’s greatest lies. Notice that the criminal who rejects Jesus isn’t rejecting God’s judgment but God’s love. In a sense, the criminal who rejects Jesus condemns himself.
